Production & Sustainability

Every artwork is printed to order using museum-grade giclée printing on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gsm, one of the world's most respected fine art papers. This made-to-order approach reduces unnecessary inventory while ensuring each print is produced specifically for your order.

Our archival pigment inks deliver exceptional colour accuracy, rich tonal depth, and outstanding longevity. The softly textured matte surface beautifully captures the character of both historic masterpieces and contemporary works.

Why Giclée Printing?

Giclée printing is the museum standard for fine art reproduction. Using archival pigment inks and high-resolution printing technology, it faithfully reproduces delicate brushwork, subtle tonal transitions, and intricate detail while providing exceptional fade resistance for decades when properly displayed.

Saint Francis Kneeling in Meditation

Artwork: Painted between 1595 and 1600, Saint Francis Kneeling in Meditation portrays Saint Francis of Assisi absorbed in silent prayer. El Greco's elongated forms, radiant palette, and expressive brushwork create a contemplative composition that reflects the saint's life of humility, devotion, and communion with God.

Artist: El Greco (Domenikos Theotokopoulos) (1540–1614) was a Greek painter, sculptor, and architect whose career flourished in Spain. Renowned for his elongated figures, expressive compositions, and dramatic use of color and light, he created some of the most distinctive religious paintings of the Renaissance. His visionary style profoundly influenced later generations of artists and remains instantly recognizable today.

Curator's Notes: El Greco painted Saint Francis more often than almost any other saint, exploring the many facets of his spiritual life. In this work, the artist sets aside dramatic narrative in favor of quiet contemplation, creating a painting whose simplicity and stillness invite the viewer to pause and reflect.

Paper: All physical prints are produced on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gsm fine-art paper.
